On the left you should see a row of "+" and "-" buttons. You can expand a section by clicking on the "+" button next to it. "-" will collapse it again.

To filter on a field, click on the arrow in the top right-hand corner of the title cell, and click on "Filter...". Uncheck "select all", scroll down to find the item you are looking for, and check the box next to that. Click "Okay", and the results will show up in the window. To remove the filter, click on the down arrow again (It should have a little funnel icon on it) and click "remove filter", or simply refresh the page.
