A nice pyschological twist, a fresh angle ( at least for me) on a sci fi premise I've seen before. Donald created a convincing reality in this one, and by that I mean I stopped reading with a critical eye at some point and just let the story carry me on, but from a craft standpoint, he only lost me ...

From what I've been able to see, McAfee Spamkiller ( which runs constantly) will block email with questionable formatting and at least warn you about email that appears to be dangerous with a window that asks if you want to open the mail depending on its potential hazards. I use IE, but have McAfee Internet Suite 2005. It blocks everything, includes a personal firewall, and constantly updates virus and spam protection. It hooks you up with an anti-hacker site and even blocks questionable email.<br> Rob

I just bought McAfee's internet security suite and that appears to take care of all my problems, except for the fact that my registration for the lettercol needed to be reworked and now Shado has lost his standing as a Critic. Oh, well start again.
