This writer seems to have very good talent at setting, and the dialog is good too. Nice narrative style. Too bad the story seems to lack a plot or any developed character motivation. The gun raises other unanswered questions. This story also seemed to lose energy toward the end.
I'm with Zorro on this one: where's the rest of it? We're given a scene in present time whose past and future raise strong curiosity. I'd like some satisfaction.
