Re: Particular Signs By Robin B. Lipinski
It leaves me mystified . . . was the terminal condition intentional, or just a design flaw? Sounds like the human DNA is to blame, but . . . ??
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
Re: Particular Signs By Robin B. Lipinski
thanks for reading you two, and for the compliments and question, questions which can only be answered in a strange way.

God's Design
written by: Fate
Apocalyptic; of course there was, there is, and will be war.
You have heard about it in fairy tales, in church, at work, in your dreams...
and have you seen it between sitcoms while watching TV?
Striving for perfection
rather
a human condition
Computers
analog
digital
two cans with string between.
"Robin, what the hell are you saying, what the hell do you mean?"
(excuse me a m_________t, this is Satan: ring a bell? All this talk of hell/war, next you will probably be talking about heaven)'
A woman with her cosmetics and surgery
A man with his colored hair, hormones, and sex medicine...
striving, ever striving for perfection.
It was only a moment in time before the time was right for completion.
A combination of human and machine.
A marriage of technical perfection,
or so it seemed.
The Rapture so many yearned for, boy did they get more than they bargained for
it seemed...
The big war came.
There were angels and devils.
There were signs and portends.
In manner a rhythm, it was a bit, 'extreme.'
What lives forever?
Immortality?
Can a diamond escape time one-hundred years multiplied by a factor of ten to the tenth place?
Can a disease?
Or a tree?
Starting to see what I mean?
Oh yes, mankind is 'smart' unless compared to Satan.
Though they tried.
Remember?
The tower of Babel.
Sodom.
Rome.
The U.S.A.
World wars, I, II, III, IV, V, (classified)
The first contact, though that went a bit awry.
But that was in the far past, remember 2027?
Glory, glory, Glory be praised!
Man could now live forever!
(or so it seemed)
Angel of death is not to be tampered with, nor is God.
Perfection bred perfection
until
the sea turned red.
Pride cometh before the fall
and boy,
did man fall.
Mutation, creation: yes, it evolved.
Now, who is the doctor in the poem, can you see?
Human?
Demon?
Angel?
(a perspective a bit skewed)
Remember, a human has the free will to decide what is or will be.
As for the cyborg, remember the atoms you wear have been worn before.
They come from other planets, other bodies,
minds,
stories,
animals,
rocks,
inside the atoms are a 'memory' stored.
If only the judgement of perfection is passed to live forever,
what does that make the cyborg in the poem>>>?
Particular Signs, just another 'story', a piece from a moment in time.
Fictional or real?
You decide.
