This exceedingly unusual story seems to lack a plot or a point, and just deflates instead of having a proper ending. No dialog whatsoever, and the actions, the settings, and the characters are not so much described as reported. It's like reading some feature piece in the Sunday paper.

The totality of the story's power comes from the larger-than-life nature of the eccentric super-rich character and his efforts to accomplish his bizarre vision. His "Dream park" is a character in its own right; perhaps even the main character of the story. These things were enough to keep me reading, but I wasn't satisfied at the end. The narrator got to go to the park, got to survive it, even, but wasn't able to convince me that I should care. My reaction at the end of the story is pretty much along the lines of, "So what?" None of it seems to mean anything.

Lots of fairly good descriptive language. Various small technical errors, mostly really strange misuse of colons.
