Aphelion

This story's like a Ferris wheel -- it doesn't really go anywhere, but it's fun to ride. Characters and dialog were delightful, and that seems to be what the story is about. Not much there in the way of setting, but I didn't miss it. Plot? Obsessive old guy finds a weird vegetable and obsesses about it. All portrayed in the most wonderful language, and perfect spelling and punctuation, as near as I noticed.
