Not bad, and I especially liked the name 'Capistron,' but the story doesn't feel complete to me; it feels like the middle third or so of a longer work. The action here seems disconnected from its motive and resolution. Why did this wizard need a fire-demon, and what's he going to do once he successfully captures one?
