Thanks for reading and commenting Mark, I'm not very good at writing novels but if you want to run with the story I can add some pretty bizarre idea's for it as I can see'd it all, all in a mind.

Moist, warm, crack in the soil
beckoning with an open smell so inviting
he reached down,
bent legs
knee planted
firmly thrust without further invitation
sweat rolling from his brow...
deep,
deeper,
until he could push no more
with only a moment of effort, he was finished
standing tall
brushing off his trousers
looking down the row
so many open cracks to fill
so inviting the soil
so many oats to sow
such is the farmers way.
