I didn't know just what to expect, so it turned out surprising me, which is always a welcome event.

Plot, setting, characterization and dialog were all seamless and shiny. If I had to complain about this story, it would be the subject matter; I've pretty much lost my taste for vampire stories. There are still fans for it, though, and this one was well put together.
