Six Thegn Quean Episode Two by David Ulnar-Slew

For those of you who haven't read the first episode, it's link is right there, and I recommend it.
This story is building gradually, but it's headed for an epic conflict, and I really like how it's getting there. The overall tone is often light and humorous in the present, but the characters face a very dangerous future.
I have a minor criticism: the dialog often seems stilted to me because of a lack of contractions.
Read this; you won't be sorry.
