I see the author is a complaints officer at a university. This story just might be based on a personnel experience at the university, probably not a robot but perhaps a coffee machine going berserk or another vender machine causing havoc like stealing everybody’s money! I always hated that when our machines did that at work, especially when I lost my last dollar and it was on midnight shift!

Good intro and the dialogue was believable. I like how the machine became rather hostile and it flung paper around the room.

This story might give us a glimpse into the future for more and more voice activated machines are being tried out. And I’m sure like many people, they might get confused about the orders given them!
