I had to get a comment in for this, even if it's on the last day.
Very nicely done, with rich prose and a clever plot twist and multiple important character arcs. I thought it had a little more detail than needed in a few places, but not so much as to derail the story line.
I couldn't decide if the Kingdomweb were good guys or bad guys, and that carried over to my view of Lieutenant Plovinski, but I couldn't help admiring the way he did his job.
This one's going on my Best Of list.
