The story grabbed me, but the ending baffled me. I think there is a typo near the end where Ted becomes Thomas, but even if I change Thomas back to Ted, I still do not understand Peter's reaction.
That is no reflection on the quality of the story, of course. My bad; but I wish someone would explain it.
