Into the Future by Mel Goldberg

The beginning grabbed my attention, and left me with a desire to finish the story. I know, that’s a basic for stories, but many don’t follow that technique.
Some might say too much info dump, but I liked the science! Short stories that teach or make one aware, are better than stories that just tell a tale. But that’s my preference, and I’m sure others will see it differently. ( I wonder if that is a good use of an adverb?)
Good style! Easy to follow the storyline without having to re-read, and good choices of words and phrases.
I knew how the story would end long before the final sentence, but I didn’t see the twist coming, and it was a interesting one. Time travel is open to many interpretations, and what might be, just might not be! Who is to say? The future has its secrets. Even when we travel into the future, there will always be a tomorrow! I might be wrong on that one, but only time will tell!
I enjoyed the story, and that’s what counts!!
