The I, Robot movie may have contributed to Mr. Grey's choice of subject matter (or more likely, the knowledge that the movie was coming out), but the situation overall is more reminiscent of the Tom Selleck movie, Runaway. On the other hand, the robots of Runaway were not all that different from the ones we have now -- i.e., pretty much brain-dead. They were malfunctioning, not psychotic (if there's a difference). The Acme 'bot in the poem is more like a Jimmy Cagney-bot ... Little CZR?<br><br>
