good morning morning
another day to greet the day
with an afternoon for hello
comes evening where evening takes the hand
and then
night
a pause where all combine
such a time, whirl twirling period of salutary moments.

Long day. Good stories on the new challenge. Very diverse.
Warm Fall day and fun to watch Cindy hand feed the deer that frequent their yard. No fear at all in those dear.
While laying waterline I came across a large bullsnake looking for a way out of the trench. He had no fear either. Helped the guy slither away to find a new den for winter since the ditch took out his old haunt.
Inspirational.

Fear
No fear

Survival and defense
Mechanism of longevity
maybe that explains why soap bubbles are so large, so vibrant and free, not a care in the world
lasting only seconds
while rocks last for centuries, afraid of their own shadow.

plumber smoking aromatic cigarettes
fresh embers bringing memories of past work and parties
inhaling the soothing thoughts
owner ringed with white sugar of a free donut
Pepsi in his hand
taking a pee against a large willow tree
no water inside a home today
and laughing at a joke heard about size
it was a good day if you will
making money
stinking from sweat

with a spotting scope given as a tip
yes
indeed,
the moon looks nice tonight after a wonderful day.

Re: Writers Parasite [Contains Adult Language & Situations]
Just read a nice poem from a man who dabbles in wordery. Fun about the webs.
Read a joke today worth sharing: A Welsh Corgi, German Shepard, and Black lab were sitting before God sitting on his throne. God said, "What are your attributes...
The German Shepard said, "I'm fierce and loyal. Protecting my master and family."
God said, "Excellent, you shall sit at my right side."
The Black Lab said, "I'm compassionate and loving. Serving my master."
God said, "Wonderful, you shall sit at my left side."
Finally, the Welsh Corgi said to God, "I think you're sitting in my chair."
*
Inspiration comes hardcore, softcore, and in between. A simple poem about webs and fairies paints a nice comfortable picture. A joke brings a smile and spontaneous laughter. It is good inspiration indeed.
**
There was the path again
Same in smell, touch, and feel
Hearing the sounds of a creek on its downward journey
\
Pole in hand
Jar full a half frozen hoppers'
Snowberry's ample and plenty
/
Ahead a hole, the one where there was always'
Deep and full
Silent currents carrying
\
Threading a hook and seeing the tobacco juice makes its entry
A toss
A flick of hope'
/
Line loose and drifting
Sinking just a a sun rise
and there, the bite
a trout, a nice one, one of many
\
Line tight, so tight it bent the determination
bringing to pole and mind
energy
/
Reeling ambitions
Alone as it should be
until
there swimming above the grass in air
a wonderful scaled beauty
\
For hours leading into years, into centuries
such a call of such a wonderful memory
a wonderful world where a man can truly be.

Flowing
or is it the ebb and flooding of ideals so to make up
mankind
Dawn showed the beginning
where an erection brought direction
a species prolific
this mankind
When did the first blanket of comfort smother the cold?
How did fire kindle the heart, the soul?
Ah, yes...
Love, a food of sorts to bear the hibernation
a soft, muffled,
roar...
Woman, to be one
Man, to want
a mixture of blood
so warm
Flowing, always flowing each second, minute, month year
Oceans of all
all of humanity
running on the fuel of emotions
marked by time
menstrual masturbation
mental salted mind
meaning so much to so few
so few even close to the flow to understand...
as one single drop of rain flows upward,
beyond the clouds, sky, moon, comets, stars...
flowing
growing
and within grasp
a flood.

Link didn't work for me Lester but I copy and pasted it all, and while it did not show me the article I did find the site itself very interesting. Bookmarked it as I saw it has some nice looking articles. Found the pizza museum and article on how Amerian's used to picnic in cemeteries interesting.
But since you brought up food... a question. Why do people in America shun from eating horse?
Horse meat is sold in Europe, Scandinavia, and many other countries but here in the good ol US of A, I think it is illegal to sell horse meat.
And along that same vein, why not eat dog, cat, and homeless people?
All inspirational of course.

Re: Writers Parasite [Contains Adult Language & Situations]
Inspiration takes control for some writers. Inspiration comes in many forms. Today, Rachael had heart murmurs and was in the hospital getting checked out. Gary was in the same hospital and had a heart attack where then he was taken to a larger hospital for a stent.
Today, felt the heartbeat of a father long dead; felt the heartbeat of a mother long dead; felt the heartbeat of a brother long dead... thus the inspiration takes control of this heart.
***
Inside
Beating and feeling
the flock of birds wings as they take flight
the rubbing vibrations of the crickets legs
the suns rumbling as it released its rays
the waters roar beating rocks in stride
All around,
thump
thump
thump de thump
until feeling everything alive
Bringing a lump of ice alive
Bringing warmth to the cold piece of coal
Freeing relief as what matters in this world of death'
brings uncountable heart beats.

Re: Writers Parasite [Contains Adult Language & Situations]
They're too close to being seen as pets now, I think, though I wish I could afford to keep one. I wouldn't; I just wish I could afford it. Anyway, I heard that people in the U.S. did eat horsemeat during one of the big wars when beef was being fed to the soldiers or something. I haven't looked it up. But I do remember when TV was black and white, there was some brand of canned dogfood that advertised using "lean, red horsemeat."But since you brought up food... a question. Why do people in America shun from eating horse?
We've come so far ... a couple years ago when I bought a new mattress to replace the one my parents used, the tag on it said it was stuffed with horsehair, and that was common with a lot of furniture.
Have you ever slept on a feather mattress? It's fuckin' amazing; you just sink into the thing and float there. And they don't work on the beds we use now; it had to be in a bed with high board sides, just like a waterbed, and for similar reasons. A feather mattress is just a bag of feathers and won't keep any shape, so it has to be contained. Those bed frames had criss-crossed ropes holding the mattress up, too; no steel or springs.
Yeah, we've come a long way ...
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
Re: Writers Parasite [Contains Adult Language & Situations]
Around here one can get free mules and horses. wrote about how I was hired to bury some horses and mules a couple of years ago. Owner got tired of them, killed them and I buried them. What a waste and true reflection of what it is to be human.
In my opinion horses have their place in a work environment such as cowboys (and cowgirl, or whatever) sporting events (rodeo, roping) Hunting, (packing) and yes, pets. As far as animals go, they are a high maintenance animal and eat like a 'horse'.
Used to buy from prisoners in Deer Lodge 'correction' facility; woven and braided horsehair belts, hatbands and such. Excellent material and quality.
Never slept in a feather bed. Too soft. Much prefer the ground, a sheet of plywood or rock surface. Human bodies were not designed for recliners, sofa's, or soft beds.
This morning inspired by the boring topic of humanity. Caravans. Mobs. Sexual confusion. Hate. In general... shit. So, fuck people this morning. Instead, a poem about rain. Rain is good.

All around, a fog of clouds cleanse
a real peace.

Cherokee Purple Tomato
Brakes set tight
there on Gregory Creek
Excavator pushing, trailer holding
Truck taking a breather
pads hot as fresh shit
A dodge ahead, also too, taking pause
Next to the left is the welder, Randy
To the right, yellow cottonwood leaves and a creek
Smiling he saunters, plastic bag in hand
window down, coming up
"Want some tomatoes?"
Standing on the steep grade, the sunlight prevailed
warm air fresh from recent rain
Talk and banter
about bullies and friends
gardening tips and tricks
showing off a round pear given above
and then...
Slowly he walked back down, heading to the library to volunteer
leaving a bag of cherokee puple tomatoes
cooled brakes
while the wind blew leaves
mixing with the low gurgle of squeaking brakes
and a creek.

Fairy Humor
"Hey Mikey, you do know that you're eating dragon crap..." A slightly frumpy and fat fairy named Bob said to Mikey, a slender wisp of a fairy who was busy nibbling on a rose petal after having just finished consuming an entire pansy.
"So?" Mikey said as he took another bite on the fragrant petal.
"So, aren't you a bit nauseous knowing you're eating dragon crap?"
Mikey paused from chewing, dabbing the sides of his mouth with the wing of a lady bug and smugly said, "Not in the least. Everyone knows that dragons are full of shit."

Re: Writers Parasite [Contains Adult Language & Situations]
"Hey charcoal beak... when you die can I have your corpse to feed on?"
Not cool parasite, an appendix is nothing to joke about.
"Who said I was joking? Don't you eat chicken?"
Yes, but a Phoenix is not chicken.
"It has wings, feathers, a beak... I bet they taste like chicken."
You want chicken, go to the fridge and eat chicken but just stay away from the new summer sausage and cheese.
"Okay. I'll just wait for the corpse and then I'll really..."
See ya parasite. (slamming the door shut on the fridge to keep the parasite trapped among left-overs and jars of pickles and fermented calf eyes.

Good hearing you're doing okay Tao. I appreciate the kind words and glad something I wrote was worth borrowing. Feel free to use whatever is, and of course for the inspiration.
Hope you feel better from what ails you. If it fails I'm known to make excellent moonshine which makes all aches and pains both spiritual, mental, and physical seem a bit more distant. Though, to be sure, it also is great for powering internal combustion engines and preserving flesh in a pickled state for at least 400 years.
As for chess, it truly is a great game and I'm not very good at it but truly enjoy all aspects of the game except for that (in my opinion) castleing option.
As for Life confusing me, rest assured there has never been any confusion in this body ever. The reality is that this World of mankind is truly a shit planet with minute glimpses of potential beauty and greatness. Writing actually is truly the only real joy existing, well, that and food. So much good food to try and only centuries to try them all.
So, good to see you're writing again and get yourself well.

Writers
What is a story presented if not a knot?
With inspiration, aspirations, dedication; searching verbs, adjective, nouns, vowels...
Where then is the joy and happiness, sadness and pain; presented in such diverse worlds of thread?
From cradle grows the search; ability leaps, eyes see, fingers touch
Books learned read, and so grows
the knot.
Look over there, can you see to your left?
Look again, to your right.
Above
Below
Around
Did you taste it?
Smell it?
Grabbing paper and pen; pulling on a lace
Scribble and paint
with time, a jumble of colors, emotions, experience and time
there finally arrives
a story...
But no, something is not right...
What is wrong?
There on the paper, filled with words and ink
So much, so many, so, so, so filled with energy
one
giant
knot
and yet, it is not finished...
So, what is a writer?
A writer is nothing more than an identity, a feeling, a wheel, a mechanism, a need...
What they do is bring it all together and tie the knot...
The knot though, is not the story...
The story for every reader is the unraveling of
the knot.

Re: Writers Parasite [Contains Adult Language & Situations]
woke up this morning thinking about how writers in the past wrote stories and poetry regarding topics of the day. For instance something about their favorite horse whinny gallop, for in this exists happy trail People of the day would say, "Ah yes, a good prance through forest and glade." Today, people would say, "Nah. Boring. That sucks".
Got to thinking about phrases such as when wearing fur was popular and trendy. "Think Mink" Catchy. Effective. Today, people would have to suck their thumb and go to their safe place for therapy after reading such.
Then thought of "A mans best friend is his dog" Still applies though in a few years it will change to "Sex robots are divine".
Finally, after 'making' breakfast I thought of a perfect one for this period of time "A microwave is truly fantastic!"

Robin, I think you may have hit the jackpot--combine those two and you'd have a housepet that can bark at strangers, fetch your slippers, and curl up in your lap to give you an electromechanical hum-job.Then thought of "A mans best friend is his dog" Still applies though in a few years it will change to "Sex robots are divine".
Whoever gets this to market first is gonna be swimming in money!
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
Re: Writers Parasite [Contains Adult Language & Situations]
That's why they invented peanut butter... heeheehee.
"Robin! Finally you have become as bad as me!"
Not even close parasite. Though, if it has been thought of it has been tried.

You're probably right Lester. A sex robot (with appropriate apparatus) built like a dog and highly 'erotic' is probably in the works. Though to be 'fair' for a sex cat lovers, it will give pussy a whole new realistic feeling...
"Damn Robin, that's two good ones!
Hey parasite. You are looking like a cross between a cat, dog, alien sex robot... want some peanut butter?
"Oh, yeah! Now you're three for three and sick! Oh, and I doubt you'd want me... I have fangs."

And thanks for the inspiration Lester. Makes the word, electromechanical combined with humming 'sound' great.

Food. Sex. Pets.
Three words summing up the simpler world of men.
Clothes. Emotions. Diet. Food. Shopping. Exercise. Scuba diving. Art. Literature. Feelings. Space exploration. Pickling. Make up. Shoes. String. Flowers. Dirt. Mushrooms. Driving men nuts. Driving women nuts. Driving themselves nuts. (plus about every other word in the dictionary...
All countless words trying to describe what cannot be described... women.

Gotta be in Japan if it's anywhere. Those people are incredibly kinky, and they love technology. You're probably right Lester.
