Yes . . . some of your word-processor formatting gets lost when the email gets it, unless you've got the formatting commands embedded (which isn't automatic). Thus the need for a template.

I also use Open Office. I got it on disc from someplace in Canada, cost me a few bucks, but I was afraid of trying o download the monster at the time (back when I was on dial-up). That was Version 2, and it had some notable idiosyncrasies that were displeasing. I downloaded an upgrade to Version 3, and it's vastly improved (though still not perfect). I recommend it, though; it does damn near everything, including PDF.

I tried to set up a template on it, myself; I'm not sure if it worked, as I've never tested it. A frustrating and baffling process.
