You may be interested in this link I posted on another thread, wherein Pratchett totally disses Rowling!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainmen ... >
While I'm here, can I just say something about that Steven Covey book.... I've known a few people who've read it, commendably wishing to improve upon what they perceive to be their ineffectiveness.

It didn't work ::)As usual, I'm reading more novels than I probably should all at once. Fortunately, all these books are great. For any who are looking for a summer read, I recommend all these titles:
FICTION:
Harry Potter 6 by Rowling (of course)
Sundiver by David Brin
A Hat Full of Sky by Terry Prachet
Rocket Science by Jay Lake
NONFICTION:
Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey
Yes, I'm reading all these at once, but I just finished Harry Potter and I don't plan on picking up anything to replace it. All of these books are great, especially the Prachet novel -- he is always halarious!
