I dunno.

I sent Robert one in the beginning of May that might be good for October and haven't even heard he got it yet. There may be one heck of a backlog.

The September short story lineup includes submissions mainly from May and June (STILL about four months backlog), but you said you were aiming at 7,500+ words, so that shouldn't matter. I don't know what McCamy has in her to-read queue (if anything)...
