Bwa ha ha ha ha! I am become Master Critic. Now, at last, I can properly demolish Jon Lovitz's performance as Master Thespian.

Robert M.

It's been months since I recall the "what does 3 and 4 stars get us" posts.

How sneaky were the YABB designers, is there a 1000 post prize?

Perhaps I am in the wrong place, but I had quick question. As it happen I really like your stories. I have found myself laughing out loud at them which is a strange thing when surrounded by cubilcles. I have, for the past year or so been an avid reader of Aphelion. I would like to give some back to the great writters and web people who have salvaged many a boring work day. I live in Atlanta and after reading about the Aphelion party would like to contribute. Don't know if I'll be able to make it, but it would just be a small thank you. 50-100 $. Where would I send it?
Jacki
By 'your stories', are you referring to my (Robert Moriyama's) stories, or Aphelion stories in general? If it's Aphelion stories in general, some authors might be upset, because they weren't TRYING to be funny ;).

If you're serious about contributing to Aphelicon expenses, send a message to Dan Hollifield (vila@america.net). Hello Hello,
Sorry for not getting back sooner. I am on the project that is always due today, and never seems to end!!! My record so far, working 3 weeks in a two week span!!!Anyway, yes Mr. Moriyama, I have laughed out loud at your stories inpaticular, and enjoyed the others just as much in general, and have even taken to reading the webzine on my freetime! I have just read the intro that Dan gave for this month. Usually I am dying for the next month's issue, but last and this this month I've been so busy (not by choice) that I have not been able to keep up. From those directions that Dan gave, its not to far, but I've got three weddings to attend this year, two at an undetermined time, 4 vistits to family, whenever we can fit it in, and three boys under 5 and a mom who need undivided devotion. Dan, if I make it, cool, if not, well I'm not worried. As long as everyone has fun. My donation will be spread over the summer, as "she who is blissfully obeyed" allows a 20$ allowence every 2 weeks! Just kidding. I just wanted to write that. But I have come upon a new personal motto and family crest, it would be more official in Latin, so if anyone could help, that would be great to put over a door, but here it is in Spanish. "Feliz esposa, feliz vide" Happy wife, happy life! I have to admit, I got it off jewelry sign, but hey, truth is where you find it. Anyway, I have to take a shower, leave for work, finish my first draft of my 4 year project by 12:30 so I can make a 1:30 meeting at my oldest pre-k school meeting. Here is my personal e-mail. jackipowers73@wmconnect.com. If Dan could send me a P.O. box, or mailing address, I'll begin my bi-weekly tithing to a church I truly can stand behind!
Hope to talk to anyone soon,
Jacki

So now you're cool, and we're in awe, etc.

So where's that adoring fan?

I would have guessed "sore thumbs."

-- david j.

What, you think I'm writing this stuff on a Blackberry or a cellphone? Sore fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome (that's an injury sustained while constructing a covered submerged passageway for your koi to swim through in your backyard 'water feature'), perhaps, but not 'sore thumbs'.

Robert "802 ..."
