Oops, wrong cue card. Aphelion needs long fiction (7,500 words and up). As you will see when the March issue goes live (tonight?), we had no long fiction subs, or at least none that McCamy felt were publishable.

Our short story backlog is also shrinking -- March includes some December subs, and I may have to keep cutting back on the number of new stories each month to avoid running out! I might be forced to dredge up stuff from my own Electronic Steamer Trunk o' Story Fragments to fill a slot or two, and you don't want that.

You have been warned.
You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.
