Where's February? Is it coming out before MARCH?

Post by kailhofer »

So ... you can start the 'Where's February? Is it coming out before MARCH?' topic in about a week. With any luck, we will be jolted out of our Seasonal Addictive Disorder (where your attention is captured by casting and other 'stunts' during February (TV ratings) Sweeps) and ACTUALLY POST AN ISSUE WITHIN A WEEK OF WHEN IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE AVAILABLE. Of course, our luck (when we have any) is usually bad ...

(*So far, nobody has said that they CAN'T be ready before then, and Iain has said that he could be ready NOW.)

I waited TWO weeks. But here it is, just like you said you wanted.

Re: Where's February? Is it coming out before MARC

Everybody has uploaded this month's NEW material. Dunno if Dan has had a chance to put together an Editorial, or if Rob has had a chance to work on a cover. I am trying to pick three stories from each of '97, '98, and '99 as nominees for 'Best Shorts' of those years -- for 1997, which both Tao and I reviewed, we had exactly three on both our lists. '98 and '99 won't be as easy, but I hope to make the picks tonight. Then it will be back in Dan's and Rob's hands...

Funny, I didn't get my first story published at Aphelion until 2003 so it boggles my mind why you're looking all the way back in '98 . . . ;D

Well, we figured that was the point it all went to hell, so if we looked from before that we might find some good stuff. ;)

I thought the Golden Era ended with the publication of 'The Gray (or Grey, depending on which spellchecker settings you prefer) Men'. And the Silver Age ended when Cary Semar retired. Coincidence? You decide.
