You know, I've been noticing a reduction in spam traffic lately . . . you may have just hit on the explanation!

I keep my fingers busy deleting their accounts, while you treat them to merciless mockery . . . This could become a new strategy . . . maybe we should spread the word!

Re: Spam Parody - in which we mock some of the stranger post

Post by Lester Curtis »

Well, we'd have a little less of it, but the board's filters don't seem to be working as they should. For example, we keep getting stuff from email addresses "xxx@mail.ru" . . . when I noticed this, I went to add "*@mail.ru" to the Banned Email Address list -- and found it was already there. The wildcard (*) should stop anything coming from that server, but they're slipping past somehow. Banning by username works, but I'm sure they just generate a new name and try again.

Some of the bastards are pretty stubborn . . . but then, so am I.

You see Lester, you were right! Spammers are taking one look at the spam parodies (crucifix crosses, strawn down the spam parody road, tortured spammers carcasses marking the spot of their mockery of death) and are turning around and high tailing it out of here!
Yep . . . well, I happily granted his request. Rare to get one ASKING for it, though -- but they get it anyway, HAHAHAHAHA!

DVD-ROM does not burn discs
by Vika4581 » December 12, 2012, 07:10:56

It's in my laptop, Operating System - Windows Vista Ultimate.

When I write something , always having problems. For example, after burning the disc is clean or DL discs poryatsya recording of the second ball.

That suggest that the change?

Gives no clear error. Sometimes seems to be no error and drive as if recorded, but an error check information and the drive is empty.
You're just not getting it hot enough. Let me suggest an especially effective tool, and it works on ALL Windows systems: a highway flare. Available cheap at any auto parts store, and I guarantee it WILL burn your discs. Just light it, lay it on the keyboard, and close the lid! It will not only burn your disc, it'll also take care of all those other nasty problems that Windows is so prone to exhibit at the same time! Just be sure to hold the cover down until it goes out.

Oh, and try not to breathe too much of the smoke -- that is a Windows byproduct, you know.

I never knew that sasquatches lived in Mongolia -- or that they had a werewolf problem. A good silver system piercing sounds like just the ticket for that, though.

Oh, by the way -- you misspelled 'sasquatch.'

The above transcript is translated to mean..."shediengti kigj%44## fghryrk jkih eiudj!!!!"

The original text came from "Lonelytania" in the upper North East Southern Region and was first encoded to be read as, "holliujeh jud eidt$$## ijme iueee".

We now know this to be the journal entires from an extremely lonely guy who wrote it with his "only" free hand!
Mark, you've just qualified yourself to write new spammer usernames for a living.

Have you heard how people can eat so many carrots that their skin turns orange? You're damaging yourself. Please, go back to writing poetry for a while, before it's too late.

He jojo, where exactly ARE your fitted kitchens? Are they in some city? Are they solid wood?

We need some answers here!
Mark, pay attention! They are in Manchester (presumably in England). Jojo works for the advertising department, which was outsourced to India (per his / her Whois info). If you know the score of the musical "Hair", you can sing along: Manchester England, England -- across the Atlantic sea ...
