Audio files -- but for filk songs, not stories
Just finished an IM chat with Jeff Williams (on AOL, not Aphelion chat. How silly that is, in retrospect).

On the audio stories topic, I speculated that more people might be interested in hearing the music that goes with filk songs published in Aphelion, either 'to the tune of' or original melodies.

(I realize that not ALL entries in the Poetry and Filk section HAVE melodies, but I'm pretty sure that some of them do ...)

Any interest in THAT variation?

Robert M.

I can't play an instrument either, and my singing voice is, say, better than Willy Hung (or David Boreanaz as Angel), but not something anyone would pay to hear (they might pay NOT to hear it ...). However, Jeff Williams tells me that Rob Wynne, the esteemed webmaven, is a filker of some skill. Perhaps he will be the first to favor the people of Aphelionia with a tune ... especially since he's the one that will have to figure out the best way to set it up.

Robert M.
