The return of Nightwatch?

Post by kailhofer »

Does anyone else remember Jeff's guest editorial last July that said Nightwatch "would return in full force in 2008"?

On its way?? Has it become trapped in limbo? Gone the way of the dodo?

Expiring minds want to know...

I think Jeff is trying the X-Files tactic of a long delay between installments. He may change his mind if the new movie (opening this Friday) tanks. ::)

Hi Nate,

Nightwatch series 4 is in the planning and is coming back. However, it will probably not be returning until 2009.

Thanks for asking! It's nice to know that somebody misses it. :)

Thanks,
Jeff
I really enjoy the Nightwatch stories. I think most people do. The universe is cool, the characters great, and the scenery gets to change regularly.

Nothing this year. That sucks. My memory's a bit fuzzy, but I think last year was just waiting on the installments of Bill's epic.

That's a lot of waiting. Considering turnover, you wonder how much of the audience will even remember them by then. Of course, considering the size of Bill's, just going to 3.0 on the Nightwatch Bible may take until next year. :)

If you're stuck for writers when you do get started, I have an idea that wouldn't depend on any secret timeline/current events... Great for substituting when somebody drops out unexpectedly... [shameless plug, ;)]
