Purging of off-topic posts?
Greg Guerin just posted (under the "Just Another Day ..." topic in the August 2004 folder) a question: what happened to the other posts in that topic? It looks like several have vanished into the ether.

Were they purged by Dan or Rob? If so, why? I don't recall any really offensive content in the missing posts.

The alternative is some kind of software glitch that has lost the links to those posts -- or a server problem that lost ALL comments posted over a certain date/time range (files restored from backup).

Dan? Rob? To quote the Fred Willard character in 'A Mighty Wind', Wha' hoppen?

Robert M.
You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.

Re: Purging of off-topic posts?
That's my fault. There was only one other post there, (Sniff. Nobody's talking about my story any more. :) ) and I put it up last night. I was griping and venting about my lousy job and how it was hell for me, especially yesterday. A few hours later I regrouped and decided it was wrong of me to dump that on everyone & deleted it.
After it was gone, the system still said it was the last updated topic, even though the last message was from the 11th.
NateGreg Guerin just posted (under the "Just Another Day ..." topic in the August 2004 folder) a question: what happened to the other posts in that topic?
