Aphelion contributor nominated for prestigious award

Seanan McGuire, whose series of essays on writing have been appearing regularly in Aphelion for the last year and a half, has been nominated for the 2010 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Author.
The winner will be announced at the 2010 World Science Fiction Convention in Melbourne, Australia, in August. This award, like the Hugo awards, is voted on by members of the 2010 Worldcon. (So, if you're a member, even just a supporting one, go vote!)
