Hint: If you don't post a reply to spam, I can delete the whole thread, so it's like it never was. Technically, I can delete the thread even if you did reply, but you didn't spam, the spammer or spambot did. Your words should stay. I deleted its message, leaving only your reply.
The more annoying ones are like today, 17 messages from a real person, who was still posting while I was deleting them, with art this time. (I can nuke the messages, but it takes Rob or Robert to ban the user.) That is, I assume an address like Celfkeedarl "Self-keyed Arl" is a real person.

Well, thanks. I have no idea what options are out there, but for now, if you or anyone else sees a spam post, use the "report" feature. It makes the message pop up in the Moderator panel front page, so we can zero in on it as soon as we get here. That way, we don't have to comb the stacks quite so much.
