Still here, but *busy*!!!!

Selling your house? Oh, right -- you have to trade up to something large enough to host Aphelicon West ... Your dedication to the cause of partying on is an inspiration to us all! ;)

Robert M.

I'm also currently selling my house, if anyone's interested...?

Maybe you and Kate should trade -- although I suspect that the resulting commute to work would be a killer.

Robert (I want my commission on this deal) M.

Oh, heavens.

After working all the extra hours I can and family construction projects, this fall I've already helped make 52 gallons of apple cider off my parent's trees--and there's still 3 more trees to go. 22 of those are in my chest freezer, and the freezer compartment in the downstairs fridge is completely filled with applesauce. (We all believe in stocking up in good years, but thank goodness it's not a bumper crop of pears, too. And I'm for just letting the grapes go to the birds! No time!)

Adding in coaching 10 & 11 year old flag football that my wife "volunteered" me for, I've only had time to read one story all month, and couldn't comment on that until days later. To be fair, my wife leads girl scouts, is on the PTA board, and canned tons of green beans, tomatoes, and fruit cocktail when not at her 3 part-time jobs, so I can't fault her for wanting me involved with the kids extra-curricular activities, too. (Made me look like a slacker, she did.)

GAAAAH! The things you've got to do to make it in Dubya's economy! (And yes, I blame him directly.)

I will try harder, though.

Nate
