Apparently you have to TELL our reader(s) in the lettercol when a new issue goes online. Can't just assume they'll try linking to the cover page URL or to 'index2' every few days. ::)

Geez, I should start making picks for May lest we end up skipping another month ...

Robert M.

... but you didn't notice Issue 101's debut and you FAILED to announce it on behalf of the frazzled and discombobulated Editorial staff. (This is called 'blaming the victim'. It is usually preceded by a lengthy exploration of why the current generation has it So Much Easier than the speaker, so if HE managed to get rich (using slave labor to clear-cut and strip-mine nature preserves), THEY should be able to do the same without any of HIS hard-earned (tax sheltered) money. However, in this context, that part of the speech would be a wee bit off topic.)

Robert M.

Is there a reason April doesn't have its own forum category? The board feels kinda spooky without one.

Usually stuff is accessible via the Back Issues links (eventually); the Archives (which I WILL update someday, honest) are a couple of YEARS behind. In the meantime, to access stuff from recent-past issues, you can try

http://www.aphelion-webzine.com/<type>/ ... >
Where type = shorts or serials or poetry
year = 4-digit year (e.g., 2006)
month = 2-digit month (e.g., 04 for April)

This will bring up a text-format directory listing of filename links for the year, month, and category. The filenames are usually something at least close to the story title, so you shouldn't need to try more than one or two to find a particular story.

Robert M.
