Just looking around, it says voting ended on the 14th. Is that right?

When, and how, were nominations made for this?

I just voted (as John R. Murray, so's they won't notice that I PICKED the story for Aphelion) -- it said voting closed on the 15th, but seemed to process the vote anyway (sent me the message with the 'click to confim'). So Nate's vote will almost certainly register, while mine may or may not.

My suspicion would be that Critters members make the nominations ... are you a member, Mr. Jones?

Cheeky. Won't Mr. Murray mind?

I always liked him better, anyway. ;)

Buwahahaha! He wouldn't dare object. Not as long as I have those photos (backed up in multiple locations, with instructions to send them out if anything should ... happen ... to me).

"A Clock and a Carriage" was one of many short stories nominated for Best Short Story of 2006 at (I think -- can't find the confirmation e-mail and davjonz deleted the post with the link!) a Preditors and Editors site. But voting supposedly ended on the 14th or 15th ... we think ... which is why Dave deleted the initial post in this topic, rendering the remaining posts cryptic or just plain weird. (Posts from Nate and me tend to be weird anyway, so ...)
