Last year "The King of Where-I-Go" by Howard Waldrop (scifi.com) was nominated, and the year before "The Voluntary State" by Christopher Rowe and "The Best Christmas Ever" by James Patrick Kelly (Sci Fiction 5/26/04) (scifi.com) were both nominated.
