Michele’s link to the Baltic Sea’s UFO site, spurred my memory about unusual happenings around my hometown of Johnstown, pa.

The story of Kecksburg is just one example and, believe me when I say this, we have our share of ghosts and spirits walking around town and the hills around Johnstown. With all the coal-mines and steel-mills that once inhabited the area, and the Indians that also lived in the valley once, you bet we have many stories.

Then it just occurred to me. If I know about weird events near Johnstown, and the ghost stories that never seem to end in Johnstown, then I’m sure other Aphelionites must have heard or know of weird or interesting happenings in their home areas! They must!

So, I asked every Aphelionite to summit a local legend or ghost or UFO story that took place near his/her hometown or his/her place of residence now. This is no contest, just something interesting to share with others here.
