They would be very "green", our new masters. They would waste no part of their human cattle, rendering fats (and the chair-bound game / social network / Youtube addicts would have plenty of that) into fuel, and feeding any scraps (mostly body piercings, "grills" and tooth implants) to the rats running on the backup power grid treadmills. (Actually, I think it is more likely that a corporation will achieve a crude kind of sentience, sufficient to avoid destroying those on whom it feeds. That would, of course, require it to be much smarter than current corporations that chase short-term profits by minimizing wages and benefits and bribing their way out of environmental and other regulations (or doing so pre-emptively by buying elections), until there is nobody left with the means to buy their products. Google transcends this problem, of course, by HAVING no actual products.)
