Nice, but you left a question unanswered about formats: Do they accept formats other than MS Word? What if you send them your own .pdf?

I looked at their submission guidelines (or uploading instructions, or whatever) once, and got scared off by the complexity. They highly recommended using a template, and I'm still not sure how to make one -- and I work in OpenOffice.

Having said that, I also looked at a couple stories there, and the formatting was all over the place; single- or double-spaced, paragraphs indented or not. I think I remember Smashwords warning that they did NO corrections for you.
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
