I've been watching episodes of the old Twight Zone on late night TV. Some are an hour long!
I don't remember any of them being a hour long when I watched them in the 50's, yet these episodes are definately from that era.

Just thought I'd mention that and see if anybody can shed some light on the hour long episodes.

The half-hour episodes seem to be better!

imdb doesn't say whether it started with 60 min. episodes, and continued with 30 min. episodes, or the other way around. Of course, these days, they could pad a 30 min. episode from 1959 (when the series started) or the early 60s with so many commercials that it could fill a 60 minute time slot!
