I have to think about it. That's within driving distance; just don't know about the room rates yet. Having more people there (from AnotheRealm) would be good -- maybe get some folks from C&C in on it?

I've posted an invitation to the folks at Creator and the Catalyst to join up with us there, too. Oh, yeah -- I've decided to attend.

I'm very much looking forward to this. It's always a delight, and the possibility of meeting other writers has me very excited.

I've sent word to Mark, and I have a thread at C&C about this. Now all we need is to know what time to be there.

I'll be driving into Pittsburgh sometime in the afternnoon; maybe have time to hang out before dinner if I can find you guys. I'll stick around until about 11:00 PM and then hit the road for home; that will save me the price of a room for the night.

Sergio, If I can remember to bring it, I'll have a little gift for you.

I hope some other people show up. C'mon, folks, the more the merrier!

Okay, I'll be there sometime in the afternoon -- maybe 3:00 or 4:00; so as to join you for dinner. If you're going to be out sightseeing then, leave a message for me at the hotel's front desk, or call me so I can find you.

Did I hear someone say, "Pictures, or it didn't happen"?

Here are a few.

Michele had to leave early to catch her bus for home, but Sergio and I had dinner together and got to yak for a good while.

Next year: Columbus, and hopefully we can convince a few more people to show up; there will be a comics convention there, and we want to incorporate that into the fun.

Oh, yeah -- if you have to go to Pittsburgh, don't drive yourself if you can help it. Only about a fourth or less of the streets are labeled. I got lost coming and going.

Only question: is that Cthulhu to the right of Michele's head in the first picture?

John
I don't know, but judging from the street layout, it wouldn't surprise me if he'd been one of their road commissioners.

Get some respect for people's religions, Boozer.

That's FLYING Spaghetti Monster. With two big meatballs.
