I hope this month's ice sculpture has been appropriately tinted.
My votes will be along shortly.

Congrats, Michele! Buy a Bud with your winnings to celebrate, and stick the rest under our mattress for your retirement (if you're like me, you'll need all you can get).
Here are my rankings:
1 ) Taking It Back
2 ) Pesto Carbonarea
3 ) I'm Not as Green as I Look...
4 ) Spam
5 ) Iced Green Tea
6 ) What's in a Color?
7 ) Walden's Secret
8 ) Bíonn tú Glas
Also, select the one story that in your view best meets the challenge requirements and captures the spirit of the challenge to receive the "challenge bonus":
Taking It Back
(And now I'm wondering what happened to that bonus.)
I've got some comments too:
********
Taking It Back
This one has a minor plot hole -- when Serena finds herself as the murder victim, at the scene, she knows details of her clothing and jewelry that she would be unable to see, like the hairpin and earrings.
********
Pesto Carbonarea
I liked this one quite a bit, but I considered it SF and not fantasy.
*******
Iced Green Tea
There was a cue in this one (about the stocking-stuffers) that confused me as to the protagonist's gender. Pretty decent otherwise.
********
Spam
Who wouldn't love to see this happen? However, if it were me, I wouldn't do it for the money (well, not ALL of it) -- I'd just enjoy ruining the spammers, HOPING it was actually coming out of their own pockets.
*********
Bíonn tú Glas
This one got annoying with too many references to green objects.
********
I'm Not as Green as I Look...
Excellent plot.
*******
Good job, folks. I might have to do another of these myself someday.
