Thanks Bill, you are right.

Many other webzines appear as depositories for stories. Write one, then it's posted. And when posted it stands alone with no friends to guide it into something better! And when I do see a critique it's usually 'Cool Dud' or 'I like that' or 'great story.'

Crap on Aphelion is gold on other sites.
In large measure, yes. There is one site I've found -- Clarkesworld -- that only posts the creme de la creme (and maybe that's why they only post two stories per issue), but near as I can tell, it has nothing to offer in the way of helpful critique for writers.

As to the rest -- Megawatts put it pretty clearly.

Lester's comment says "
I HAD TO LOOK THIS UP IN THE RADIO ATATEURS HANDBOOK. FORGOT MOST OF THIS A LONG TIME AGO .THANKS FOR THE REMINDER."
Damn, I missed a dash.

Really, for not having used Morse since about high school, I was astonished at how quickly I was picking it up again.

Morse code is, officially, a dead language now, if I'm not mistaken, at least here in the US. Nice that a few people are keeping it alive.

By the way, Tao, good job on writing a bad story.
