Tao, it's all your fault. You said my alien sketch was too cute, so just for that, I'm gonna try to make your eyes bleed.
Here's the caption I came up with:

"Emperor Tchak was having the worst day of his life. This very morning, his Imperial Consort gave birth to something with feathers, and then the groomer absconded with the Imperial Hairbrush."

I know, I have to get off this kick with the ears -- and the profile.

You just made the Emperor's day even worse . . .

"Wait, what? Was that in fact a compliment?"

No . . . you've introduced a possible usurper to the throne, is what.

The Emperor may have to reconsider his intent to kill this newcomer . . . seeing as he's gotten no legitimate offspring from his Consort, he's consulting his advisers about grooming (both literally and figuratively) the youngster for the position (the literal part will have to wait until the Imperial Hairbrush shows up again).
