"Best of" selections - Agree? Disagree?

As noted, the "Best of" selections were chosen by the respective editors as our personal favorites from the February - December 2008 / January 2009 pool. Those who didn't read them the first time around might want to sample a few now...

And THEN you might comment on how exceptionally good (or bad) the editors' tastes may be. Think of it -- a chance to compliment or slag an author and an editor with a single comment! How can you resist?

And I am not kissing up. None of my stories made it. A poem did. But that's a different story.

I have to admit that I feel I cheated a bit in my section, selecting three entries from a series of five articles, but since no one seemed to notice them when the ran the first time, I was hoping people might pick them up in the Best Of..., since they really are talking directly to our craft.
