Actually, Paul is an Innocent who just happens to be staying at the hotel. He has been mistaken for Mr. Braynes, the writer of the purchased-but-never-used TNG script (the Lost Episode). Hence all the bizarre huggermugger and foofaraw makes no sense to him at all...

Actually, Paul is an Innocent who just happens to be staying at the hotel. He has been mistaken for Mr. Braynes, the writer of the purchased-but-never-used TNG script (the Lost Episode). Hence all the bizarre huggermugger and foofaraw makes no sense to him at all...
You could have made that a little clearer . . . I saw the name discrepancy and just chalked it up to him being the actual author using 'Braynes' as a pen-name.
