Jensen's Holler by Brian C. Petroziello
I was thinking, as I got sucked into this story, that it was a fabulous Lovecraft pastiche, so the big reveal at the end was less a revelation and more of a confirmation. Deliciously creepy, with a great eye for detail and a good use of language. This was a story well told, and reminiscent of one of my favourite early aphelion writers, Allen Woods.

Um, "Meet the Wendels"? But they weren't NEARLY as bizarre as the Jensens.
