FYI - Just in case you didn't notice, there are two repeat Nightwatch stories this month. Part two of Jeff's Kindness of Strangers (one of my absolute favorites) and another by some two-bit hack.
It's okay by me if no one comments, just as long as it's not because they didn't see it...

I read both of them . . .
I wouldn't blame Simon for going on a killing spree, starting with Callow, of course, and making sure he suffers intensely. Simon is truly cornered and being used as a plaything, and not just by the Nightwatch Institute, from the looks of things.
You don't put a dangerous man into that kind of situation without paying some consequences eventually . . . I'm just itching for the day he goes off on them all.
This series has some faults, but its great strength is in making the reader (this one, anyway) get really pissed off at the way the good guy gets abused.
