Sagon RV Supercenter - Hurricane Disaster Relief Team (FEMA approved) Release Date: August 31, 2005 JACKSON, GA – On Tuesday, August 29, 2005 Sagon RV Supercenter responded to the call for disaster assistance in Mississippi. FEMA approved, Sagon RV will be responding to the needs of the Biloxi and surrounding area residents. Sagon RV will be providing housing assistance through the use of recreational vehicles to residents who lost their homes during Hurricane Katrina. Dennis Braland, Sagon RV Sales Manager, stated “this is worse then what I saw last year in Florida. All the water we had with us [6-7 cases] was handed out within a matter of hours. We are in dire need of water, baby food, baby formula and diapers.” On a daily basis Sagon RV will have recreational vehicles leaving their Jackson location to assist with housing and also transport donated items needed by those in the disaster areas. Anyone wishing to make a donation can drop off their donation at one of our two locations. Southside drop-off point at Sagon RV Supercenter, 172 VanMar Boulevard, Jackson, GA; take I-75 south of Atlanta to exit 201. For directions to the southern donation center please call 678-752-0009. Northside drop off point at RV Connection, our rental affiliate, at 4648 South Old Peachtree Road, Norcross; ½ mile east of Peachtree Industrial.
