Welcome to the direct descendant of Dragon's Lair Webzine:

Shakedown Issue #4!

Issue 4, Volume 1

Issue 5 will be online June 1st.

You are vistor number to this page since April 14th 1997.

****Please Add 1155 to the above count 'cause our counter broke down!****

Welcome back for our 4th issue! We're still (?!?!!) ironing out some bugs but I believe we'll be out of the shakedown phase in the next few issues. In this issue there are new writers, new chapters in our continued stories, updates on our reports, a letter column, and a new cartoon. I'd like to thank those of you who have sent e-mails for your feedback. As you can tell, we've taken your suggestions to heart and made a few changes. Keep those e-mails coming, folks! Without those messages we will never know what we need to improve upon.

Our counter crashed early last month and a replacement was not up-and-running for several days. Therefore I have no way of knowing the exact number of readers for April. More than 484 of you read our third issue. (We estimate the total to be somewhere around 660 if the average number of visitors per day held true) Thank you! Please keep coming back for each new issue as it goes online.

I have an e-mail address for submissions, click here to submit a story or just read the submission guidlines. For now I hope everyone will bear with me while I get the Zine on it's feet. Some folks have asked about submitting Poetry: While we do not publish poetry ourselves, there is someone for the poets to turn to- The Writer's Club, a poetry Webzine run by one of our friends from the DALnet IRC Chat network. Visit #the_WritersClub on DALnet and check out the Writer's ClubWebpage if you are poetically inclined.

And now, I'll shut up and let you get to reading. Thanks again for visiting. Enjoy yourselves!

If you miss the wavefile that played automatically at the start of our previous issues click here to hear it now.
